Empowering Recovery Through

Recovery Insights & Support

Recovery is not simply about stopping a behaviour.
It is about understanding the patterns, relationships, and environments that shape how people live.

MyRecoveryPlug represents a shift in connection — from harmful links to life-affirming ones. Through conversation, reflection, and practical insight, I work with individuals, families, and communities seeking deeper clarity about addiction and the recovery process.

Recovery often involves moments of uncertainty, relapse, reflection, and growth. Having a space to think through these experiences can make a meaningful difference.

These conversations focus on developing a deeper understanding of addiction and recovery patterns, navigating difficult periods that arise along the journey, and strengthening personal insight and resilience. Over time, the goal is to help individuals develop recovery practices that are sustainable and grounded in their lived reality.

The aim is not quick fixes, but greater understanding and stability over time.

Family & Community Understanding

Addiction rarely affects one person alone. Families and communities often experience confusion, frustration, and concern when someone they care about is struggling.

These conversations help families better understand addiction and the recovery process while exploring healthier ways to respond and support change. Often this includes rebuilding communication, addressing emotional strain, and finding ways to support recovery without unintentionally reinforcing harmful patterns.

Understanding the broader social and relational context of addiction can become an important part of the recovery journey for everyone involved.

Recovery Education & Conversations

Beyond individual conversations, I also engage in educational discussions about addiction and recovery.
These conversations may take the form of community dialogues, recovery education sessions, workshops, or speaking engagements. They explore the realities of addiction, the complexities of behaviour change, and the social environments in which recovery unfolds.
The aim is to deepen collective understanding and encourage more thoughtful approaches to addiction and recovery.

Recovery is rarely a solitary process. It unfolds through conversations, relationships, and deeper understanding.
