My Recovery Plug: Connecting Recovery to Sustainable Support

Meet the Founder

My name is Harrison Mathangani, and MyRecoveryPlug was built from direct experience within recovery environments and continued work in telehealth and digital systems.

While working around addiction treatment settings, I observed a consistent gap — individuals often leave structured programs with progress, but without clear continuity systems to sustain that progress over time.
My work focuses on strengthening what happens after primary treatment. I am particularly interested in structured aftercare, accountability systems, and the responsible use of digital tools to support long-term recovery outcomes.
Recovery, in many ways, requires strategic thinking. Sustainable change is rarely accidental — it involves structure, foresight, and consistent decision-making over time.
MyRecoveryPlug reflects that philosophy: practical, ethical, and systems-oriented support designed to reinforce recovery beyond the treatment environment, but without structured continuity systems.
MyRecoveryPlug exists to strengthen that transition — supporting individuals, families, and treatment providers through ethical, evidence-based, and digitally supported recovery environments.

The Principles That Guide Our Work

Ethical Grounding

Integrity, confidentiality, and professional responsibility shape every recovery system we support.

Client Autonomy

Sustainable recovery is strongest when individuals retain dignity, agency, and ownership of their progress.

Respect and Dignity

We foster non-judgmental environments where individuals and families can engage openly.

Accountability & Monitoring

Structure enhances stability. Clear systems strengthen recovery outcomes.

Evidence-Based Practice

Our approach is informed by clinical insight, research, and measurable recovery principles.

Building Connected Community Environments

building connected community environments

Recovery is strengthened through collaboration. We work alongside families, treatment providers, and recovery communities to support ethical, informed, and sustainable recovery pathways.

Technology, when used responsibly, enhances connection rather than replaces it. Our work continues to evolve alongside modern telehealth and digital recovery models.
